Tangle's new beginnings by PatChristensen
Clear

This is a close/macro shot of Tangle. A wild kitten who 3 days ago was near death after being completly entangled in threading on a nylon shed that had fraded on the bottom. What I’m sure started out as fun playing with the threading had suddenly turned into a life and death situation for her. We found her and after about 20-30mins of cutting her free brought her indoors, bathed her and fed her. Once we decided she had not suffered any long term problems from her ordeal, we then began the job of trying to reunit her with her mother. Unfortunately as we did not know for sure who was her mom we were unable to accomplish this task, so now we have decided to bring her in from the cold and keep her as out new pet. We have introduced her slowly to Shiver and Patches (both born wildcats) and it looks like everything will go ok. Hope you enjoy our new found friend :)

I am so happy you are adopting her Pat. she is so precious! I just found a new group of feral cats behind my doctor’s office two days ago – please go to my page and see my latest uploads of the photos I got of them. I can barely get close to them and my zoom is not the best but i think the photos are pretty good considering, and I am hoping some people will see them and it will educate some people about these poor wild cats.

AGAIN so happy you are keeping Tangle. I am sure she is very grateful to you and will be a great pet. she is tiny enough to become completely tame.

  • Thank you Jane for the comments and telling me about your plight I have checked out your images and a sad story it is lets hope with your help it will become a story with a happy ending as well. The more we put their stories out there the more people will be educated about thier issues Tangle is about 3-5 weeks old so the taming part will be easy but cats born in the wild are never quite as docile as the indoor cats or so i have found, part of them always remembers. Thank you for the great comments and doing all you can huge hugs :)Pat

I don’t need to tell you how cute she is and all that – everybody else will do that.
But I need to tell you that I know very few people here that take such perfectly sharp pictures as this. Normally this would be blurry on some parts and I would reject because it’s too close.
But you master this to perfection. Kudos to you mu friend ♥
…and congratulations on your new baby xxxx

  • Oh dear Kira you are such a sweetheart and I am thrilled you took the time to make such high comments you have made my day brighter thank you my friend. We are tickled pink to have Tangle with us and hope she will find great friendship with Shiver and Patches. Huge hugs all my best :)Pat
