Taken on my mobile phone looking down the road we live on as a dust cloud engulfed us last year…Edited in Corel PSP X2 to add a tad more drama…..The image quality is a little lacking but I loved the drama of the storm as it blocked out the sun…..

Just goes to show you, it’s not the camera, it’s the artist’s eye! Your work conveys so much feeling, no matter what you do. I like what you did here, the tones add a perfectly dismal touch to what is most likely an unpleasant experience!

  • Thank you Chrissy….It was def an unusual day….oppressive…heavy….un-nerving…..My little mobile did a good job of capturing it :) x

LOVE the atmosphere of what you captured in the image and the processing you’ve done Carol. It reminds me of some of my Dads old photos although it’s in colour and not B+W. Beautiful work. :) xx

  • Hi Trudi!!!…It was the most amazing and eerie day….Made the world so much smaller and more uncertain…..but exciting at the same time…if that makes sense…lol…
I can see what you mean about having the feel of an old photo….I am happy it does….Thanks so much ♥

it reminds me of scenes from the 70’s with that burnt light. the composition is very dramatic.
