I was very impressed with this skater’s well composed pose in mid air,
just like a dance, very graceful to watch.

Awesome alright,Pat,how they manage to get back on the board in mid air is amazing, well done!!!

  • Thanks very much Lance for the compliment and fav. I had to leave after a few rounds,it was too nerve racking for me.Quite a lot of falls and I was terrified to watch those falls. The successful jumps were terrific but the anticipation of the falls was all too much for me. LOL Surprisingly they just pick themselves up very quickly and line up for another jump : )

These actions shots are really interesting – so dynamic and the tones here are very effective. Lovely work, Pat!

  • Thanks so much Damienne, so glad that you like it. I tried everything to make him stand out. The background was just horrible, too many people.I did a selective colouring and it didn’t work, ordinary B&W also was not effective so in the end I settled for texture and vignetting and was happy with the result. It was quite scary to watch them fall. I thought one of them was going to break his neck,he fell in a very awkward position.I couldn’t stomach the stress of watching them fall. LOL
