This ? crab spider was enjoying the sunshine .He stayed very still on top of this pretty purple daisy in my garden. This is the first summer that I have seen so many crab spiders in my garden. They are tiny and cute.

maybe you are right.there are millions of kinds of spiders.crab spider is very small.I saw the biggest one is ghost spider in our area.try to find new and big one with long thick hair.

  • These white ones are very small too but I always see them eating small flies . There are a lot of them, all on top of different types of daisies . I hope you find your big hairy spider. I find spiders fascinating and beautiful : )

Interesting little beauty! Can you let us know where this was photographed so we can help to confirm ID? I’m really lazy and hate having to go back and forth to see where people are from! :o)

  • Thanks Carla.Found in my garden,Melbourne,Australia. They like any types of daisies. I’ve just posted another image of them just to show how tiny they are. If you scroll down below the framed pic above you can see my other pic.
