My mom has COPD, or at least we think she has. I’m going to Kansas tomorrow to see what’s happening. She’s 89, so it could be anything. The problem is that her doctor is out of town until Thursday. This is a really small town, and the medical care is below terrible. However, it doesn’t seem to be shortening the life span of the locals. Anyone who doesn’t make their 80s, at least, is considered to be cut down in their prime. I’ll be off the grid for several days at least. No wifi at my mom’s place. I’ll be checking my email at the library. Wish me luck! I fly from Raleigh to Dallas to Tulsa. The I rent a car in Tulsa and drive two hours north to get to Fredonia.
