To My RB Friends
Sorry to have dropped out of the known universe this last month or so. It’s been an intense three years of digital creativity. As the ideas stopped flowing, I realized that it was time for me to take a break from all forms of digital imaging and recharge my batteries. Long ago, I learned not to force things. Add to that how incredibly busy my family is at the moment. For the creative part of my life, I’ve gone back to basics. This includes anything to do with yarn, fabric, and textiles. There’s no time for weaving right now, but I’ve been knitting and making coiled baskets during my down time.
During the last month I’ve been to NY, NC, NM, NC, NY, NC and will be back in NM in a couple of weeks. It’s all been family stuff. During my next stay in NM, I’ll be painting and getting our Santa Fe house ready for sale. If anyone wants a house in Santa Fe with a fabulous photography studio, we have one for sale. We hate to sell, but the main part of our life will be in North Carolina for the next seven years.
Anyway, I’ve been thinking about all of you and just wanted to let you know that all of my RB friends are still on my mind. I hope to pop in now and then with some journal entries. A few idea have been floating around in my brain.
I’d love to hear from all of you.

It’s so nice to hear from you Pat. I am glad to hear that you are getting back
to, what seems to be a passion of yours, fabric and textiles.
Wow, lots of traveling, I am surprised you have time to breathe, let alone create.
I hope all goes well with the sale of your house.
My best to you and your family,
Jen

May the Carolinas bring you the joy they bring me.
Relish the journey, enjoy the change of vista, tell tales of journeys past over the festive table, and recount the joys already found with delight – let problems subside in their wake.
Love and best wishes Pat.
