Yep – one body reflected, two bodies, or is it the three – facing? or in line? I like this for its simplicity and toning = an abstract which has me wondering – super Pat

  • Patricia L. Ba... replied

Thanks, Graeme. I was just pondering how much your art and mine have changed since we got on RB.

Its true Pat – it has been fascinating watching how a few people have evolved. Your work has gone two directions – one being increasingly more intricate and amazingly flowing, the other being an acceptance of the simple, which provides a wonderful contrast to the former.
I look back on the work I was submitting 15 months ago, and little of it remains on RB nowdays. In my landscapes, I have found new richness, whilst in closer up images, texture and form. I look at things through different eyes, but the emotions within remain the same. I am happier to explore new things as my confidence has grown, and whilst this is a natural process, being part of the community which is RB, has provided impetus and inspiration sooner than I may have just happened upon it had I gone it alone. It has also made me take my work less seriously, but at the same time looked at it with a business head on – that is the direction I seem to be going, step by step.
All I can say, is long may we walk the road together – and thankyou for your support along the way. All the best
    Graeme

You will be long gone when you get this reply. I am tardy in answering things these day, but I hope you will see it when you return. It has been a journey. A continuing journey. May we both continue to explore and grow.
