This time, I include myself in the picture :-) Although I am all wet heat by the wave after this shot :-)
Great work Ray,was it taken with the selftimer ? or can you fly ? :)
Thank you very much, Hans. Yes, this is a timer, I actually captured with 45sec exposure. At first I do a bit self timer (at F22) and I run very fast to this spot, but I appear to be blurred compare to the foreground. Then, I changed a few tricks. The remote timer works well here because it’s not too fart away as the effect seems far is due to the wide angle lens that emphasize the near and minimize the far… :)

Fantastic shot Ray well done
Thank you so much, Miller :)
A favorite for me Ray!. Great composition at the Rocky Island!
Hahaa….this is a great place to photography :) We should explore more of this place….
Very nice Ray…it looks like you’re at the edge of the world
Thank you so much, Lisa. Love your inspiring images :)
This is Freakin’ Genius, Ray! Awesome shot. Where abouts did you take it?
Hi Glen, thanks a lot. I actually capture this at the beginning of great ocean road.
Beautiful image Ray, Composition, exposure & textures are great.
Thank you so much, Tony! Appreciated your very kind words :)
Well done Ray – love your composition. Bit scarey leaving your camera like that!
Thank you very much, Anni….I was afraid too…but just take the risk, and some self scarification as almost fall few times testing the F22 running from camera to spot and fully wet due to standing at wrong location of rocks due to the time as the clouds just started to open. But happy to get this one. The clouds open after this shot and the ray just gone…
Glorious mood and capture. An instant fave. Well done. Cheers.
Thank you so much, Elana…so happy to know that you like it :)
This is an image I could look at and find more and more to appreciate with each passing minute… Plenty to enjoy here, Ray. Excellent image =D (but I have to say I’m as curious as Hans… How did you manage it? Do you have a super-strength remote? Or can you fly? Or did you put it on self-timer and scramble out there as quickly as you could???)
Thank you so much, Mieke. You are clever, yes, I do try the running image, because F22 will not capture you in the image if you are moving fast :). What you need is a remote timer :) Due to wide angle effect, actually I am not too far away from camera…only the lens makes it further…
Great work Ray! I’m with the others I’d like to know too ;))
Thank you so much, Husky. Appreciated your kind words. Yes, I have replied Han’s message :)
