I suppose with the woman’s body it is very subjective. What I see as art perhaps you see as suggestive. I really would not want to censor these sort of images from anyone but that once again that is me looking from my perspective.

Thanks so much guys. I was a bit worried as I thought that perhaps I was missing something. I really loved this shot as soon as I took it and felt the energy was very pure.

I really like this shot Tony but to me the undone jeans do make it sexually suggestive. In the thumbnail she is cropped above the jeans and I must say I like it better that way.

Thanks guys. Also thanks Helen for your feedback. Perhaps this is what has affected a couple of other people aswell? She is wearing army pants and my feeling when taking the shot was that it added some soul and passion to the shot. I suppose that the miriads of sexy undone jeans shots that have been produced over the years may have conditioned us to think suggestive when we see pants opened even if the shot energy may not be for that intention.

I like the shot enormously, she’s got a spectacular body and clearly you were not headed toward salacious anything. And frankly, I like the coming out of the jeans, it’s plenty modest and there’s something so sensual to the wearer, trousers caught at the hip bone, like rolling down the waistband on ballet tights. The viewer senses it too. Feels good.

Goodness, cannot for the life of me see ANYTHING suggestive here. Just re-visiting this lovely image. Still beautiful and natural. We ALL take our duds off at lease once eveyday, is that suggestive??? :)) L

This work is absolutely awesome! It has a raw energy which I find both captivating and magnetic. It also has a great sense of mystery; I want to see her face… The natural light works well. It creates something of a paradox. Is the image something hard (well toned) softened by light or does the light put a hard edge on something soft (femininity). I just love it.

Another really excellent image Tony and as far as the negative comments go well I think its up to the viewer where they want to take their own feelings.

Some people are comfortable with the feelings that we all have, and some people aren’t.

Different from many of your others. Texture? Lights? In any case, it’s great.

Really, the imagery is quite tame. If you want to see suggestive, view some of the other artists on RedBubble who run very close to the wind between artistic and pornographic/gyneacological.

The image suggests work and exertion and would work well whether the breasts are shown or not (depending on how it is cropped). I dont think it would work as well with the models face in view (I am sure she is lovely, but the image isnt about appearance).

Seems like you can only stick to flowers and bunnies (make sure you dont show the stamens or pistils though!). Sort of makes me glad that I only have the confidence to shoot landscapes and flowers.
