End of Era 2
This is another shot from my calendar series. Along with the other model from the End of Era series this model is the most popular I have ever had. I love the strength in her body aswell as the calm and peace in her eyes. On both counts she portays empowerment to me.
I am really passionate about running workshops pertaining to images such as these. I have set up a group to promote and feature these workshops.

Interesting Butch. She is an incredibly deep energy but can close off at times. I shot this a long time ago. Felt she was pretty open this day. She has very beautiful eyes when she is relaxed. Perhaps you may be even feeling her energy now. Whilst it sounds weird I do believe that looking at a photo of someone can connect you to their energy.

ok.. took me a while to see anything other than her figure and that lovely neck of hers (i like a good neck.. so what), but i really do like the composition and the muted tones. there is something in those eyes if you really take a look. something wistful. maybe she’s just really missing the surf.

wonderful point Tony… and one I don’t take lightly…. it would be interesting to know just where she is emotionally at the present…..... as I seem to be in the minority here concerning this image. I am greatful that you read my comment in the spirit in which it was given. It may be that her perception of her self in how she is utilized as an artist/model has recently changed.

She is a very close friend of mine and very receptive to energy. However she is not as passionate about searching it as you and I perhaps. Don’t see her that often but would imagine that dependant upon who is around her she could be brought down from time to time. Perhaps this is what you have connected to as I do remember her being pretty positive about and during this shoot.

She can be so great to be around when she is like this. She was really calm this day and I think it gives the shot much impact. Was actually shot in the carpark of my suburban factory.

I do not know her..
She is breautiful…i the standars of actual classical beauty.
Her head seems to belong to another body.
Her trunk seems to travel fast.. to a place where the joy of sensuality has been reducted to almost thinn, nervy muscle and soft tight skin.
The way she is holkind the surfing board is nos convincing…
Too dreamy her look…bathed in an intense and fiery look…for having a personal relationship with the object…Too languid for being a really sport woman.
But I may be wrong…and she is really a wave-eater….a siren without tail…a goddess of the tides..and only… she is having a moment of longing desire.
As is an image…I can make her live thousand lives…and she won´t get anything from it.
And for you the warmest of my admiration. That what you touch….whom you do touch…just shines.!!!

Thanks Rosa. As usual your words challenge me to go far deeper than I am used to. The woman in this photo does also challenge me. She can be so angelic in expression but at other times her face can mirror the hardness of her body. Your words about her trunk and sensuality are also I think connected to something that you have sensed in essence. Once again you are sensing things that are not so easy for the eye to see.

its actually chappel. i do here earhart does our da page. it got too confusing with both of us doing works on the account. she is an amazing model.her. the right word is “essence”. (it something that some translate in photos so amazing you want to note every detail yet drawn in to one thing no all of her so yes “essence” is the word for it . )
