La Tour Eiffel (The Eiffel Tower), built in 1889 and located on the Champ de Mars is the tallest building in Paris, France. It is the most visited monument in the world, originally build as an entrance to the 1889 World’s Fair. Designed and named after Gustave Eiffel.
La Tour Eiffel is 324 meters tall and has three visitor levels which can be accessed by stairs or lift to the first and second levels and lift only to the third (top) level. There are over 300 steps to the first level alone. Fancy a run up?!
