An old crooked-ish house I stumbled across in Split, Croatia. I loved the stonework walls and the mismatched windows. I should point out this is a single house that I have copied five times over for effect and fun.

LOVE this Andrew! For some reason they remind me of laughing faces :)

  • Thanks Carol! Ah, there is something cartoonish about them, can see the connection to faces! :)

This works so well….it feels like the viewer is looking thru arched shaped windows. The icing on the cake here is that you made one a different tone – great piece Andrew!

  • I love that description! Thanks so much, Trish. Was playing around with this one for a while and it just came to me :)

Kind of get the feeling they are staring back at me, but not in a threatening way…more like curious, mischievous children! Love this one.

  • Spot on! This place was quite playful in feel to look at, almost like something from a children’s fairy tale. Thrilled that’s come across to you in this piece. Thanks a lot mate :)

I would absolutely love to hang out with you and shoot. Too bad you’re all the way across the world! heheh.. I like your colour selection here. Smart editing, and smart photography. :) (And you know, you’ve got your own “pop art” thing going on here lately I’ve noticed- in a twisted sort of way. :)

  • Interesting you say this.. I’ve been thinking about the chance to shoot with you one day too! Luck is on our side.. I’ll be on your side of the world in August this year.. travelling through America. I’ll bmail you (I promise tonight!) with details of the trip :) My own pop art thing.. hey that is so damn cool! I’ve never thought pop art was anywhere near my folio but I wasn’t thinking outside the box with it! Twisted pop art is awesome! You keep shining new light on my work, I love that :)
