Erciyes, the largest volcano in Cappadocia, Turkey.
While visiting Cappadocia, we took a hot air balloon ride at dawn. It has since become one of the greatest things I have ever done. The views were spectacular, drifting above the city moulded from volcanic rock and ash. It gave me the surreal feeling of being on an alien planet.
It was this scene however, that took the cake. Actually it took the whole party! The higher we drifted, so did the sun, until we were gifted with a breaking dawn before us. Clouds parted and the sun started to shine through, casting a glow across Erciyes and lighting up the sky around us.
