Early spring blossoms have always been my first signs that winter may be coming to an end. Over the years they seem to be appearing earlier and earlier, despite the bitter cold this year, they arrived nice and early once again.

Shot in the gardens of Rippon Lea Estate, Melbourne, Australia, while out with Andrew on a shoot.

    I like this. Beautiful creation.
We also had a rather very cold winter here in SA…..the blossoms though, makes it all better…..summer is on its way…
    Great work here.

  • Thanks heaps Olitto! I think all is southern hemisphere dwellers were hit with a cold blast this winter. The blossoms definitely make it a lot easier to accept. First signs :)

    Oh, I see… got a bit worried there ;p
Around here, autumn has slowly started to show it’s pretty face… today it’s the first “storm” with quite a bit of rain and serious winds…

  • Ahh as I was reading this comment, a massive storm hit Melbourne! Seems like we are trading places with the seasons now :)
