I spent a great day out with Cas, Andrew and Angie yesterday, in Southbank, Melbourne. Australia. Our adventures lead us to Crown Casino, where this series of shots were taken. A paneled mirror allowed for multiple reflections of people as they passed by.

Many an amused face walked past, wondering why the hell three photographers were getting so excited over a seemingly empty mirror space :)

Brilliant capture, Andrew!! Did you win anything?

  • Thank you so much Wendi! I don’t gamble at all, so bizarre photography opportunities are the only things Crown come in handy for me! :)

I’m surprised they allowed you into a casino with a camera actually. Did they give you any grief?

  • One of them followed Angie when she was on her own, making sure she wasn’t a terrorist I think haha.. but none bothered us as a group. We are allowed to shoot any areas outside of the gaming rooms. Provided the camera isn’t pointing into a gaming room area, if that makes sense. I got yelled at last time when I did just that!

Mate that is awesome, could do some cool experimenting with this kind of thing in the future (don’t ask me how… I’m not one of them creative types like you… haha :P). Also I’d love to have seen it, can just imagine 3 photogs standing around giggling like little girls at ‘nothing’. :D

  • Thanks heaps mate! This was ace fun to play around with on the day and in post processing too. I think your creativity takes on a whole different area of photography!! Haha, it would have looked pretty damn funny, we were so focused :)
