Sitting on the balcony, reading a book, I looked up and noticed a crow had perched itself on the television antenna on the roof. I sprinted in, got the camera and took about 80 shots of the bird, and a few of his friends, as they came into frame and landed too.

It took me a while to work out what to do with the shots, and this is the end result of a few solid hours of post processing.

Crows have a strange effect on me, they can calm me and make me feel a bit uneasy at the same time.

Cropped nine individual shots to squares, layered each in photoshop and arranged them over a square file. Adjusted brightness and contrast of each square, flattened image and added blue, green and underwater filters.
