Colour Dreams by Andrew Paranavitana

Available to buy on…

Ahh summer has arrived early for some of us this year. After a day at the beach last weekend, I was able to get that good old feeling back that only summer can bring!

These kids were playing around at the beach, and I couldn’t help but be reminded of a time in life when going to the beach, making a sand castle, digging a hole to fill when tide comes in, finding something living under a rock and burying someone in sand were the best things you could ever do. Life’s simple pleasures.

I live for a sunny day.

This is lovely Andrew! It makes me think back… to a couple of years back! lol! i was young and careless like that only a few years back…. hmmmm… what i wouldn’t give to be back there…. i like the sky tooo and the graininess makes it seem like we’re in your mind looking back on a memory that has been stored for a while and is losing its colour and becoming grainy with the overplaying…. Beautiful! :)

  • Ahh even if it was a month ago, we still crave to go back to the times that nothing really mattered. Wow, after reading your comment, I get the feeling you can read my mind! That’s pretty much bang on what I wanted to show in this piece. A memory that’s overplayed but still enjoyed. That’s made it all worthwhile, thanks heaps mate!
