This is my antique phone, given to me for my birthday about 9 years ago. It actually rings, not the electronic style, but the real bell ring, more like a fire alarm. It is an original, reconditioned and fully functional phone.
It’s the same phone used in Calling, couldn’t resist going back with the viewfinder on this one.

What a wonderful shot. I’d love to hear it ring.
Cheers Mark! It’s fun the first few times, but not the best to get woken up by :)

Oh my goodness Andrew!! I’ve actually done it! Put the wrong name on a comment! I was looking at Anne’s shot a moment before looking at yours! So sorry!! Blush You were very good about it too :D
Haha, the funniest part about this is that I didn’t even notice!! I was rushing to the dinner table as I wrote the reply. That’s so funny Ursula, no need to apologise at all, with so many artists on here, I know how it gets :)

love it, there’s a great “mad Victorian doctor” feel to this, does that make sense ? I’m thinking Vincent Price / Peter Cushing in purple smoking jackets, monacles etc etc…lol ? Wonderful memorabilia, brilliant “parmi” treatment as one would expect :-)
Great stuff,
h
Mate, I just love the perspective you bring. Can really see the Price connection to this one. Monacle, old English life, mad docs, it all fits and is so obvious now. Until I read this, all I saw was my old phone looking more antiquated than ever. Brilliant mate, thanks heaps! lol, parmi treatment.. love it!
