Disconnection by Andrew Paranavitana

This is one of the power and telephone pole across the road from my house. Being so close to home it has taken me over a year to pick up the camera, walk to my front gate and take a photo of it!

Added a viewfinder texture to the shot and three filters, blue, green and cooling.

It’s fabulous, I love it. I have a collection of powerlines and poles from Alaska and here on Maui with plans for a collection and no time to upload. They always attract my attention for some reason. I love your processing and the lovely blue hue.

  • Thank so much Sharon! Power lines have always attracted me as well, something about them that I find fascinating. Would love to see some of the ones you have, if you ever get to upload them! :)
