Please see RoyAllenHunt’s written piece: Are You Ok With This. His incredible song is a compliment to this piece.

See here for how I created this shot.

I really thought I would wait at least two weeks before I tried this again, but then I went hunting in the pantry and found more dye and well, curiosity and motivation got the better of me tonight!

Red and green dye this time around. Green was dropped in first, and allowed to swirl around a fair bit, then the red came in. It looked so much like blood coursing through someone, or something..

Extremely cool idea and great abstract Andrew! I don’t think I could’ve waited two weeks either ;)

  • Thanks so much Ursula! Set up shoots are such a different thing to what I’m used to. Test of the patience, but this makes it worthwhile! So pleased you like it :)

I saw this the first time you uploaded and unloaded just as quick lol…I am glad it has made a re-appearance as I was intrigued the first time!!! I like it, it does look like blood swirling and the colours are cool. Looks almost like smoke!

  • Haha, yeah I reconsidered this one, but so glad I put it back up again! Thanks so much mate, really pleased you like it. It does look a lot like smoke, I really like the way smoke and water can resemble each other. :)
