A light fitting in The Argyle, Sydney.

It reminded me of a mechanical octopus, or more specifically, then Sentinals from The Matrix. What I failed to pick up on was the fact that this light fitting greatly resembles sperm. Might be because the fitting was actually running vertically when i took it, and I’m using the picture side on. Or maybe I’m just too pure! LOL

Great work, Andrew…whatever it resembles! So many people probably ‘see’ past / through these each day – and here you have us looking, interpreting, debating…a true artist:))

  • Wow what a fantastic compliment, thank you so much Ann! I’m only just starting to realise my view of objects is different to some others point of view. I really enjoy seeing things in this light, and I’m so glad you appreciate it too :)

Hey Andrew,, what I should have said was t ,,, this capture has a Mechanical DNA essence,,, now that’s more lady like… but seriously Sperm is the first that comes to mind,, lol

  • Ha, i definitely prefer the sperm call! It’s straight from the mind and without forethought, and i like that!! mechanical DNA is nowhere near as controversial and funny :)
