Deep Voices
Another one in my lane way series. This was taken in Brunswick, Melbourne. Just around the corner from Rendez-vouz.
I layered the original shot 4 times, adjusting the hue to different ranges and increasing the brightness in all, added noise and a faint layer of texture.

This kind of creeps me out but I kinda like that it does if that makes sense. I want to know what is at the end of the alley way, but I don’t. I want to look but I want to close my eyes…..you have me very confused Andrew lol! This is fabulous! Great processing creating a very definite mood! Bravo :)
parmi replied
Ahh I love where you went with this one Shell!! When I looked down it I felt a little creepy shiver. Love this comment, makes the creating all worthwhile, thanks heaps my friend! :)

Wow, terrifically creepy…very like a film set. Very London, Jack the Ripper or something of this ilk.
parmi replied
Lou, you just hit the nail on the head! Jack the Ripper.. exactly the kind of feel I was going for, just couldn’t explain it in a few simple words haha. Come to think of it, I am reminded of a scene in From Hell with this, more modern a lane way, but similar all the same. Ahh thank you so much, I can now go to bed! :)
