He is a handsome looking cub, isn’t he? The breeding program does such a great job to help keep the population going. I took this shot last year this time, when I was in Zimbabwe. At the time, Etosha was 18 months old. By now, he would have been released back into the wild again, so unfortunately, I won’t get to see him again. I do want to go back and take more shots of whoever they are raising at the time though :)

It’s definitely reassuring to know that things are being done to save these incredible animals. I think the next set of lion pics I take will be at the zoo unfortunately lol! Till I get back over there anyway :)
