Androgyny

This is a collage of individual photos my friends and I took for another mate’s birthday present. This was originally 4 photos which were a creative gift of friendship. I wanted to take it one step further.

Individually, the 3 friends in this photo and myself are very different. 2 male, 2 female, 2 coloured, 2 white, 2 full blooded, 2 half blooded, 2 older, 2 younger, 2 single, 2 in relationships. Perfectly divided in half, matching on some levels, opposing on others. Remind me again, how are we so different?

Imagine a world where we are not governed by what society think of us, where media is not god, where prejudice is laughable, where division is not the main focus of our time and a place where people can live, not exist.

Idealistic? Maybe.. but nice to consider.

I think adding music can be great enhancement to an image, if the song fits it becomes much more intense….at least that’s what I think! very often when i view a work a song comes to mind! in this case this song, and that was before I read your additional words in the sidebar! awesome job Andrew!! :)
