Hostage Plea

The power went out for a second, long enough to interrupt the oven digital clock. When I looked at it, HELP was flashing up on the screen. Thought that was rather funny, and a little strange in a Hollywood kind of way. Reflected in the screen of the clock is the kitchen and hallway of my home.

So I added some noise, colour balance, and wind effect to get scratchy, creepy look of a teen slasher horror movie. This seems much more fitting to a call for help than my oven!

I see a movie title…a book maybe… i think we need a RB group for this type of ‘story starter’ pic…but maybe every pic is a story starter…afterall a picture is worth 1000 words…at least:)

  • parmi replied

A book or movie poster were the first things that came to mind when I was playing around with levels in post prod. That’s a good idea, but as you said, almost every pic tells a story. Maybe a movie or book influenced art group?
