Puno, Lake Titicaca, Peru
After a days drive from Cuzco through the beautiful Peruvian Andes, we finally arrived at Puno which sits on the edge of Lake Titicaca. Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world at an altitude of 3,820m (12,500ft). This photo I took from our boat overlooking the lake with Puno in the distance, on a trip out to the floating reed islands of the Uros people. I like the glassy reflection of the water and the clouds, which seem to be so close that I could just reach up and grab them.
