Burning Bright

Here is Jackie, my cat who loves to pose for the camera. I have a few other photos of him in my profile.

Jackie was recently very sick. He was diagnosed with chronic renal failure and hospitalized for a week. The prognosis when he left the hospital was not very good. He’s home now, getting subcutaneous fluids every day, antibiotics for a kidney infection and a special low-protein diet that is definitely not appetizing.

Despite all of that, Jackie is getting better every day. He is getting his energy and personality back and slowly gaining weight. Recently he has rediscovered how much he likes to ham it up for the camera.
