Thank you very much maxy! I really was lucky with the lighting of this shot, as it was taken in a local indoor botanical garden before any of my own garden plants started blooming this spring. The lighting there is usually terrible, but I caught an unusually bright day at just the right time!

Thanks! This was one of my first shots with my macro lens. I bought the lens over winter and had to wait for the flowers to start blooming. Finally I got impatient and went to an indoor botanical garden.
