I had just bought my new camera… but it was too cold to go outside and try it out. I set up my husband’s work lamp in the bedroom and brought some toys for Jackie to play with. I took some photos of him playing. Then he got tired and fell asleep basking under the warm lamp with his tongue sticking out!

Ha ha! Jackie gets into a lot of trouble too when he’s not tired out.

Thanks! Jackie is a true “people cat”. He has a tiger-striped tail, and the stripes on the rest of his body become more apparent when his coat changes color in the summer.

Yes, they are pretty amazing sometimes. I had never seen Jackie sleeping with his tongue out before that night, and he hasn’t done it again since… I was lucky to have the camera and capture the moment!
