well as you know Chloe 16 learning the guitar and over the weekend we had all sorts of fun as a family, including Naomi 13 singing, Rob doing his bit on the recording and me taking the photos :) this is one shot that I took of the girls.

Canon eos 400d
Canon 50mm lens
no flash fired
f/1.8
1/50 seconds
ISO 800

We live in the West of France in the Poitou Charentes region, I love where we live and take a lot of inspiration for photography from the countryside and wonderful regions around us.

I have not had any formal training and just feel comfortable behind the lens, enjoying the feeling of liberty and fun that is to be had with a camera.

I also have a FaceBook Page

Lovely portrait. Haven’t they got a guitar each?

  • Thank you Jamie – they have indeed but Naomi didn’t play she was singing :)

A simply wonderful image of your girls enjoying family life. What a treat to have that in your family a gathering of family for funs and music.

  • Thank you Karen – I have to admit to being shocked this time round not only did Chloe write the lyrics she wrote music to go with them…we have had a bit more fun and now made a video to go with!! I am extremely proud that they can do things like this as there is not much going on around here – with music in their lives it will always be special :)

sounds like a very talented family, i am trying to learn the guitar to help inspire my hubby who also is trying…lol.. you have a lovely portraiture here well done, lovely girls too.. :)) k

  • Thank you Kristina :) for your lovely comment!
I tried the guitar years ago – the flute and recorder is my limit – they also like my hubby have the talent of playing by ear! Chloe has the edge as she reads music as well – Rob is a self taught musician! So there is always music in the house :)
