canon 400d sigma lens

We live in the West of France in the Poitou Charentes region, I love where we live and take a lot of inspiration for photography from the countryside and wonderful regions around us.

I have not had any formal training and just feel comfortable behind the lens, enjoying the feeling of liberty and fun that is to be had with a camera.

I also have a FaceBook Page

    Beautiful capture Pam!
We just had our first snow yesterday. :( BRRRRR!

  • Thank you Catherine!

Ooh not sure if I am ready for snow or not yet – the girls break up on the 22nd so anytime between then and the 5th Jan would suit!!

So pretty and great capture!! I am really sorry it is so cold there!!!!

  • Thank you kindly Dottie – believe me I prefer the cold and sun to rain and grey days – at least we can get out and get photos rather than being indoors!!

This is wonderful, love this plant andhave always wanted to try and grow them but never got there yet…It is a wonderful capture

  • Thank you Karen……this is also the first year I have had success with them, my mum just keeps giving me cuttings and they never appear this year however YAY success we have had quite a wettish summer and a very wet spring maybe that helped – give it a go though they are so lovely from August onwards they give so much colour to the flower bed!
