We live in the West of France in the Poitou Charentes region, I love where we live and take a lot of inspiration for photography from the countryside and wonderful regions around us.
I have not had any formal training and just feel comfortable behind the lens, enjoying the feeling of liberty and fun that is to be had with a camera.

Lovely idea and the lighting is perfect….I think a bowl full of lemons would have been great…but as it is I think is great!

OK my friend honestly, love the whole shot, but I am wondering if the use of a something to reflect a bit of light this side, would have bought a bit more colour to the top of the lemon where it is a bit blown out? But as I am no expert I could be talking out of my backside, but just me observation? Perhaps a bit try it with a bit of tin foil on something to reflect next time to see if it makes a difference? it could look awful though!

But I am sure I can talk her round – it’s the bowl that I love for the colour with the lemons! I will have to route around and see what I have! I now have deflectors that my dad has passed on to me for practicing with so I should try some more! Thank you again :))

Yes I know you love blue, and the lemon is perfectus ! yet the lighting to the front needs a change to brighten it. Have a go at it again and you may well be surprised..only a helpful comment..I hope!
