Thank you so much for choosing them, we had lots of fun as they were following us up and down the river of Coulon on the Marais Poitevin, we also learnt quite a bit about them from their “feeder” who goes every day to give them bread, he knows how many Signets they have had and even has named them! He did try and convince me to get even nearer – the worry was feet wet or camera wet! I stayed on the pontoon where it was safer and a sensible distance from their beaks! Just wish I’d had the foresight and confidence to take photos of him as well it would have been rather nice….still maybe on the next sunny day!!
