X-Men The Last Stand - Wolverine by David J. Vanderpool

Small (16.0" x 23.2")

This 4.25″ × 6.25 graphite pencil drawing of actor Hugh jackman is one of 12 drawings from the popular movie, based on the Marvel comics. I drew this collection because of the age differences between the characters.

They are framed in three to a set, based on the level they are within the group, or the relationship they have with the other characters.

fan art, graphite, marvel comics, pencil, portrait, x men

Thanks….. I posted my favorite drawing of Hugh earlier this morning. If I can get it scanned on this small scanner and piece it together I might add it here as a high res.

    so amazing

  • Thanks. This series started as a challenge from a young artist I hired who when I first meet I thought of Wolverine! After the interview we talked more and sure enough he was a fan of the character and actor. A year later I gave him one of my drawings of Hugh Jackman!

I didnʻt like Hugh Jackman at first I was upset because he was too tall and too pretty and too thin to play wolverine in my view and he had brown hair and brown eyes! Logan has black hair and blue eyes, lol BUT after I saw the first film and Heard Hugh jackman on an interview about how happy he was to play Wolverine, I forgot all about what wasnʻt right and really began to like the guy. It turns out, he is a very humble guy in the way that he thanked us comic fan for accepting him as Wolverine because it made him what he is today! canʻt get much better that that!
On ttop of all that, the guy is beutiful! and not just on the outside. :)

  • Yes I agree and as an actor he can take on each role and you dont feel he is the same character as the last movie! Most actors cant act.. but this man can!

Yes he may not be the first choice for hard core Logan, But he is the BEST choice ;)
