Hope you are much better now. Shows how adept you are to be able to do this kind of work while you are ill. The character in this piece is really awesome, and I don’t use that term very much ( I’m older generation )....but it seems to describe the caliber of the piece very well.

Ben, thanks! pencil for me has always been my escape and was to create. Never been one to get into painting even though I can…. its just pencil drawings is so detailed and time consuming thats its easy to get lost in. Which makes it a challenge to make the time…. life comes first before drawings!!

I have used a pencil to add columns of figures or perhaps to take away. Mulitiplication and long division were the crowning glories in the history of my pencil use. Once, at age four, I even used a carpenters pencil to stab my cousin in the shin. For which I was punished, deservedly and without mercy. This, however, this is how to use a damned pencil. This is brilliant.

You are talented beyond belief, David. You must be exhausted answering all of your ‘fan mail’ but I could not resist sending you my admiration.

Really nice….photographic looking and the edges (or border) is an excellent effect on the piece.
