NOTE: Here is the final drawing of Mehadi. This is actually a second attempt to this drawing. The first one was set to far back and I wasn’t able to get the detail in his face as I was hoping. This one seems to have done better but still a bit darker. Hmm.. maybe that’s just were my drawings have involving?

    Thanks. I first attempt had him set further back on the paper and a lot of dark space around it. I wasnt happy with the first one because I wasnt’t able to bring out the detain in his face.

    Sime, thanks. I was looking forward to hearing your comment! I originally wasnt going to complete the figure and leave the penis unfinished but then thought the last minute ... to hell with it … if people cannot deal with art stay away from museum and fine traditional art. So I’ll take ‘shocking’ as a complitment that I did well and got my point across. :)

    Thanks. Nudes are sometimes the easiest to draw and the post powerful in expression. The model (and artist) is open to attacks as well as at risk at showing the world a little more of who they are.

    Matt, thanks. It’s hard at times when people from your past attack your work. Strangers I can brush it off my shoulder but to have someone in your past tells me they are ashamed of my work that hurt! It brought back the childhood insecurities we all go through at one point . Took me to a place emotional I never thought possible.

    Then I thought to hell with him and drew this just to give him something to really be offended by. To bad now he would never see the true beauty that both sexes can display. Far too many people see a nude and thinkg sex. A shame on their part. They miss out what we see,

    Thanks… the trick is to follow the contour of the muscles. I never ever blend since it flattens the drawing. My blending took are lighter pencils over the darker ones.

    I find it interesting that women love my nude males but men called it homoerotic because a man drew this :) I am just thrilled that it gets a response and what you have shared is far better than the negative stuff I have been getting else where.

    ‘Ae, men do have penises and they are beautiful. I believe most women are open hearted enough to appreciate the tactile visual imagery of this splendid fact. I hope many are brave enough to drop a note on here for you and I wish you many sales.

    I am happy you reconsidered and did not omit a crucial part of this wonderful portrait. The details of his face and hair are exquisite and I love the perspective. This is a well balanced amazingly realistic and very beautiful three dimensional work of art.

    This is one of the hottest images I’ve seen on redbubble. You put a lot of detail into his dick, which I think is VERY hard to do. Bravo. Normally mine end up looking like botched circumcision victims :[

    Well.. its easy to put the detail in his dick when you don’t think of it as one. LOL.. but rather you look at it as textures, shapes and follow the contour of the pencil. Much like his eyes and lips.. is penis is an important part of who he is… :)

    Just another muscle or extended digit much like a finger… but bigger :)

    It is great to see the final product. Though I like the detail of the upper torso and the face; particularly the darkness around the image. I still think I prefer the roughness of the previous version. I like the drama of what is lacking. Though the final drawing is beautiful, it is too good if that makes sense?
