Kevin Harvick
This 11” x 8.5” graphite pencil drawing of NASCAR driver, Kevin Harvick was completed when one of the sports writers at the newspaper I work for asked me how fast can I get this done? It took two days…. after working full time in the day as a graphic artist for the Marketing department.
Needless to say, the reported was new and had no idea that the paper where I work would never use or promote my work. Not sure why but I bet it’s written in the fine line somewhere. AHHHH. they seem to promote other local artists but not mine.
Makes me wonder what I am doing wrong as an art. hmmmm

thanks… oh hey do notice others but I suppose because I am an employee that wont promote my work.. but wait until the day my book(s) make it to the New York Best Sellers list.. I wont let them interview me.. LOL

actually its a great way to relax when it’s a small drawing. For me, drawing is my escape!

Harvick is my man! I had the chance to hang out with him at his Inaguaral Fan Club Gathering where I won his Darlington 2002 CTS windshield autographed. He and his crew were a joy to hang with.
I say they should show you work!! You do an awesome job!! I know I could never even attempt to do somethin like this. Well done :)

One of the departments at work were sending items for him to autograph so they would give away and I offered this drawing for them to have and auction off or give away if Harvick autographed it.,, long story short , after six months I told them to give thg drawing back if they werent going to go through with what they promised. They never showed him the drawing or asked his manager… losers. LOL
It’s cool you got to meet him. He is always visiting out here so maybe one say he’s see this drawing?
