Christmas is for everyone

A child was born, so long ago;
He came for you and me.
A gift from God, for all to have;
A gift to set us free.

But things have changed, and where’s
the child, born that special day?
He’s been replaced by toys and trees,
while the parents have to pay.

The gift we received was free to all;
every man, women, girl and boy.
We give each other gifts today;
To honor God, and bring joy.

So stop right now and look around;
At the Christ child, born without…
Born in a barn, with no soft fluffy bed…
And of that there is no doubt…

So when you see the trees, and lights;
and toys of every kind…
Please remember way back when, and
don’t leave CHRIST-mas behind….
