This shot of a pair of Black Necked Stilt was taken at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve at the Water Treatment Center in Henderson, Nevada. The Black Necked Stilt is a large shorebird with a black face, hind neck, and back and white throat and underparts. The stilt has very long, thin red legs and a long, thin, straight black bill.

Taken with a Canon 7D DSLR and 100-400 mm Lens.
