Papa John’s interest in photography began about five years ago when a couple of my grandchildren started getting involved in soccer and basketball. Once I discovered the convenience of digital photography, I began experimenting with other subjects like birds, bees, flowers, and wildlife.

I was quickly “hooked” on photography. I found myself reading every photography book or magazine I could get my hands on and I never seemed to tire of filling up memory cards with hundreds of images a day.

Welcome to my photo gallery. I hope you like what you see and I welcome any comments about my work. I truly value constructive feedback or suggestions for improvements, either to particular images or to my technique in general.
