I went in a different direction this time…...needed a break from lilliput for a bit :)....when i first saw this little guy…all I could think about was the hard life he lived and how very young he was and if he ever got to go home and just be a child…..the first night i worked on him..i could not sleep….all i could see where his eyes and his life…...

it’s really great image, and spooky Paola, the haunted look in his eyes….and the haunted looking house in the background….the light coming from within, i imagine as something good….i hope so for the little boys sake :D There must be a good story here i reckon!

Hi Karin :)....it’s all good :)....this little guy is 4 years old…he was a paper boy in the early 1900’s…I placed him infront of the house to represent his home that he might have had to leave to go work…the light is guiding him home…all good…can you imagine…4 years old ..selling papers on the street….i just felt so sad for him and others like him…

the poor little munchkin~ :( I can’t stand the thought of little four year olds going off to work…it’s unthinkable isn’t it…just as our kids start school these little children start work! .... it’s so hard for us to comprehend, unimaginable…and yet, there it is….a true and real part of the history of the human race :)
