I really like this Nicholas. It’s a subject that I like to paint. The very first painting that I ever sold years ago was of wheat and lilacs. It was called Strange Bedfellows. I was ignorant then and never kept a photo of it. Then found out later that my husband really liked it and I felt bad for selling it. He never told me though….maybe I’ll paint another one.

Cheers Ruth. This one came from the tiny island of sark here in the channel islands. I reckon you should get busy with painting another one for old times sake :o)
