I live in Hillcrest (near Durban) in South Africa. I am a high school teacher (History and English) by profession and my art and photography are part-time hobbies which add an element of sanity to my somewhat stressful life of teaching and commuting (I teach in a city about 60km away).
Water, ice, reflections, the amazing hidden macro world around us…these are my inspiration. I’m on an eternal quest for that perfect drip, drop or splash. One day…
I used a Nikon Coolpix885 for most of my early photographs (very impressive little point and shoot) and now own a Canon S5 IS and 400D with 100mm f2.8 macro lens.
