It is a great subject, but what makes the shot special is the unexpected and very complimentary point of view – low, to add contrast with the cloudy sky and to feature the cobblestone foreground, for texture and depth. Great capture!

this is stunning, i had to look twice. The red colour in the photo reminds me of the girl in schindlers list wearing the red coat – one piece of colour in a what is almost a black and white photo.

Just fabulous. The composition is great. I love the tones in the image to…I find them very calming despite the drama in the sky. Those clouds are just perfect in every way. The reflections in the water on the harbourside are wonderful. Super image in every way…..
