This design was inspired by the “synchronicity” phenomenon when pairing the 1973 Pink Floyd music album “The Dark Side of the Moon” with the visual portion of the 1939 film The Wizard of Oz.

The phenomenon produces moments where the film and the album appear to correspond with each other. Pink Floyd members and others involved in the making of the album state that any relationship between the two works of art is merely a coincidence…

    Ha ha. I remember playing these two together and being amazed by the synchronicity. I also heard a rumour that ‘Echoes’ from ‘Meddle’ pairs up well with ‘2001 A Space Odyssey’ but never got round to trying that one out.
