Artist's Description

Fiery hot fleur de lis macro at the inside funnel of a wild nasturtium in Southern California. The light at the end of the funnel is from backlit sunlight.

There are over 80 species of Nasturtiums found in Coastal regions and foothills of the world.

Also known as Indian Cress and similar to watercress, all parts of the nasturtium can be eaten…making them a colorful addition to salads.

Dedicated to Anna (anaisanais) and her very wonderful portraits…
