Waterfalls for God

Waterfalls for God belongs to the following groups:

All Things Poetic, Artistic, Philosophical

At church on Sunday you said to me
“God catches every tear….”
“Well, he must have a river for me then”,
I said
You nodded
Those lakes of salty droplets
Lovingly cared for by angels
Who know the stories of each pond
How they were filled
Some overflowing
Into waterfalls
The sun shining upon
Their cascading beauty
Like prisms
And as delicate as angel wings
I saw you smile
When a tear ran down my cheek
A bead of love in the waterfall curtain
For you knew where it would go
And the angel smiled too
As she flew
With such grace
Above my beautiful lake
Of tears

Dearest Susie – I’ve been away so long and had just a moment to pop in and what do I find but this absolutely gorgeous, moving and haunting poem from someone I’ve missed a great deal! You are just as awesome as a writer as you are an artist – remarkably and beautifully written, my friend.
