  • OHHHHHH Ruth, thank you thank you so much!! I shot this yesterday and it was so cold out, apparently I had a fever and had no idea how cold it was out until I watched the news lol..I appreciate your choosing to feature this work. This barn is important in Westminster’s History as it was a working farm and provided eggs and dairy to the community :)

Beautiful! Love the softness of the photo yet still having the crisp colors!

  • Thank you..Orton created through a software program does often soften a shot and bring out crisp colors and a few hard lines in the shadows or dark areas, it does create a visually appealing image. The sky was a vibrant clear blue perfect for shooting :)

Looks like a lovely place Rebecca and you capture it so well. Beautiful work.

  • Thank you Mariana, you know I have lived in Westminster a good part of my life and I am finally getting around to shooting some of the barns and houses and a good thing too as they have been demolishing some of the wonderful old buildings here that are rich in history. There is one I never got to shoot and I feel sad that I never captured it before it was taken down, what a shame!
