This brick house, located on Roper Rd (named after the Roper family who had a cattle and poultry farm est 1866) was a shell for many many years. The last time I looked inside of it was about 3 years ago. It was completely empty, the roof was in fairly good condition the exterior was structurally sound. I am so happy to see that someone purchased it and built a new interior. It would have been sad if this building had been demolished. I am not sure when this was built, but for now I will guess around the early 1800’s.
