BLUE DASHER Dragonfly (Pachydiplax longipennis). Dragon flies during the mating season at Wildwood Park near Harrisburgh Pa. Dragonflies are numerous with all the water and swamp conditions in the park. Once the Pennsylvania Canal it is now a lake and provides habitat for many of natures creatures. Dragonflies eat other insects especially mosquitos which are plentiful in wetlands or swampy areas. Taken with a second camera while waiting for a Blue Heron to catch something.
